School and parenting
Parenting while getting your education is a breeze. NOT!! Being a mother and trying to get your education whether its high school diploma, GED, or college. Its all hard trying to be present in home and school life. Trying to do your homework with a screaming toddler or worrying about a defiant teen. your not alone but i know it could definitely feel like it.
Being a time manager can be hard for anyone even more so while parenting. Its hard enough to trying to kid/kids on a schedule and then you have to find time for homework. When I started the processes to get my GED I thought what a great opportunity for my self and my kids. The reality of the work load was overwhelming not to mention trying to keep up with a toddler and newborn. I then met other moms who went through the same thing. Giving myself me time was the key. Finding time around that made it easy then I started working. find the time around that was hard at first but now I know that being there for my kids makes it easier. Figuring out what they need and need to do I can work around that. Doing a job that I loved made it not so difficult. Not being stressed at work made the balance much easier. For moms that don't have that luxury right now, you can find a constant activity to do whether it be jogging, cooking, an outing with your kids schedule around that. When you focus on that through your week and after doing it you feel less rushed or hectic in your everyday.
